Why Cooltech® cryolipolysis succeeds where dieting fails
Fat cells that resist dieting are metabolic deposits. Here is how controlled cold destroys them for good.
There are fat deposits that resist every diet and workout: the flanks, the lower abdomen, the inner thighs. This is not a coincidence. They are fat cells with a different metabolism, resistant visceral subcutaneous fat, genetically programmed to store the last reserves.
The mechanism: cold-induced apoptosis
Cooltech® uses a simple, clinically validated principle: fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the skin or the surrounding tissues. At a controlled temperature between −5°C and −10°C, the adipocytes undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death), without the skin, muscles or nerves being affected.
Over the following 4–8 weeks, the lymphatic system gradually eliminates these dead cells. The result is a real reduction of volume in the treated area, not just a temporary redistribution.
What "up to −8 cm" means
Data from Sinclair Medical, validated across more than 50 countries, indicates an average reduction in the circumference of the treated area of 2–3 cm per session. Over a standard cycle of 3 sessions at 6–8 week intervals, we can cumulatively reach −8 cm.
These numbers depend on:
- the volume of the initial fat deposit
- the number of applicators used (a maximum of 2 at the same time per session, up to 8 over a cycle)
- individual factors (age, hormonal, lifestyle)
Cooltech vs. Eximia: complementary, not competing
Cooltech reduces volume. Eximia tones the skin. Combined, they deliver the complete result.
The Total Transformation Package includes 4 Cooltech® sessions + 8 Eximia® sessions, the complete 12-week protocol for deep contouring with firm skin.
Who Cooltech is NOT for
- For general weight loss (under 5–7 kg): use diet + exercise
- For significantly sagging skin: ask about Eximia or other firming technologies
- During pregnancy / breastfeeding
- In certain circulatory conditions, which we assess individually
